How to Root your Android Phone Safely in One Click on computer

To backup/transfer data from your Android Phone using Backuptrans software, root is recommended. The following tutorial will show you how to root your phone step by step:

Note: The following rooting tools are collected from the internet. Use at your own risk, Backuptrans are not responsible for bricking your device.

Method A: Root your Phone using Kingo Root

Preparations :
1. Make sure your device is powered ON.
2. At least 50% battery level.
3. USB Cable (the original one recommended).
4. Enable USB Debugging on your device. (Tutorial on how to enable USB debugging on Android.)

Step 1: Download Kingo Root from the following link to install on your computer.
http://d.kgroot.com/android_root.exe

Step 2: Launch Kingo ROOT and connect Android Phone to computer via a USB cable.

Step 3: Waiting for automatic driver installation to complete then Kingo ROOT will detect your Phone.

Step 4: Click "ROOT" button to start to root your Phone.
It will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete the process. Once you started, do not move, touch, unplug USB cable, or perform any operation on your device anyhow!

Step 5: ROOT Succeeded! Click Finish and wait for reboot.
Your Phone is now successfully rooted. And you need to click Finish to reboot it in order to make it more stable. Still, do not touch, move or unplug it until it reboots. Check your Phone and find out SuperSU icon, which is the mark of a successful ROOT.

Step 6: After rooted, please run Backuptrans software on computer and then check your Android Phone screen. If a message pop out on your Android Phone screen, please click "Grant/Allow" button.

Method B: Root your Phone using Towelroot.(Without computer)

Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources
Since Towelroot is not available on the Google Play Store, you'll need to ready your device for the installation of sideloaded apps. From Settings, under the System section, tap Security. In here, just tick the box next to Unknown Sources and press OK.

Step 2: Open your Android Phone's web browser and navigate to towelroot.com. From here, tap the lambda symbol to download the installer file.

Step 3: When the download is finished, tap the notification to initiate the install process. From here, hit Install, and when finished, tap Open.

Step 4: When you open Towelroot, you'll notice that there's a single button that says make it ra1n. Just tap the button then the App will take about 15 seconds to perform Pinkie Pie's exploit and copy over the necessary files, and your phone will automatically reboot.

Step 5: Install a Root Management.
Go to Google Play on your Android Phone to download and install "SuperSU".

Done! Now run Backuptrans software on computer and connect your phone. If a message pop out on your Android Phone screen, please click "Grant/Allow" button.

Method C: Root your Phone using RootGenius

Preparations :
1. Make sure your device is powered ON.
2. At least 50% battery level.
3. USB Cable (the original one recommended).
4. Enable USB Debugging on your device. (Tutorial on how to enable USB debugging on Android.)

Step 1: Download RootGenius from one of the following links onto your computer.

         Download from OneDrive          Download from Mediafire

Step 2: Run RootGenius and then plug your Android Phone into your computer via a USB cable.

Step 3: When RootGenius detect your Android Phone, simply click "Root" button to root your phone.
It will take 3 to 5 minutes to complete the process. Once you started, do not move, touch, unplug USB cable, or perform any operation on your device anyhow!

Step 4: After rooted, please run Backuptrans software on computer and then check your Android Phone screen. If a message pop out on your Android Phone screen, please click "Grant/Allow" button.
