How to enable USB debugging on Android for Backuptrans connecting

To connect your Android phone to Backuptrans software, you need to enable USB debugging on your Android first. The following info will shows you how to enable USB debugging on your Android:

For Android 2.3 or earlier
Step1. Open the Settings.
Step2. Now tap on "Applications".
Step3. And then go to "Development".
Step4. Check the option: "USB debugging".

For Android 3.0 to 4.1
Step1. Open the Settings.
Step2. Search then Tap on "Developer options".
Step3. Check the option: "USB debugging".

For Android 4.2 or newer
Step1. Open the Settings.
Step2. Click "About Phone".
Step3. Tap that "Build Number" repeatedly for 7 times. But on the third tap, you will be presented with a message saying you only 4 more taps to be a developer. Therefore continue tapping till "Hooray, you are now a ‘Developer’" appears.
Step4. Go back to Setting page.
Step5. Click "Developer options".
Step6. Check the option: "USB debugging".

Note: When you connect your Android running a 4.2 or newer to computer for the first time, you will be presented with the pop up to allow debugging with the computer on device. Please simply check "Always allow from this computer" and then click "OK" to finish.
